Help me out with this - if a pass is fumbled but still goes backwards why is it called a knock on. Not trying to be smart but just watch this happen to Souths and appeared to go through hands but still backwards.
if hes running in a forward direction when it goes through his hands but touches them, then the ball has actually gone forward too

The crowd was inflated, and the game was not shown on Fox 1, (The main network) until 17 minutes into the game. The crowd was full of ex pats and Aussies on Holidays! lol, Top tear of the stadium was empty. V'Landy's thought all his Christmas's had come at once! Varying crowd figures for the game!

Yeah I have some mates that travelled over and they said there is heaps of Aussies in Vegas. Not too many Americans actually interested though. I suspect novelty will wear off each and every year for next 5 years of the deal to play over there.

I flicked over to check out the crowd. You're right, the entire top deck was empty seats. A lot of scattered empty seats in lower bowl too.

crowd looks spot on
40,746 when the 2nd game kicked off
no one said it wasn't mainly aussies either travelling , or.. residing in the USA but there were thousands of foreigners as well from a multitude of other countries

the buzz back here ?
well it was through the roof , fans of the other clubs are clamouring to take a trip of a life time to Vegas in the coming years , me included
& the NRL's season openers in 2028 will play to a full house & half the crowd will be American.
Apparently Fox America ( run by the biggest NRL fan their is ,Lachlan Murdoch) are prepared to sign the NRL up , showing all games into the US for $200 million for 5 years from this year , big money for us
chump change for them

has this been a success ?
only a clown would say it hasn't been

60 mile an hour winds , rain .. shit flying down the streets ... anyone with a ticket not that motivated to go
nah

still crushed it
the NRL delivered , fumblers need to stop with their insecurities & jealousy & acknowledge this
