AFL will be watching the NRLs Las Vegas exhibition game very closely just like they did with Magic Round.

Which is the best football code? Here you can have it out with other football fans.

NRL game in Las Vegas.
This exercise is stupidity will be seen as a grotesque travelling sideshow that is a prelude to the Vegas comedy festival..
This futile non event wont register with local sports fans who are too discerning to watch an inferior butchered form of Rugby Union.

Ask any American about our football and they all know and can appreciate Australian Rules.
Ask any American about Rugby League and they have no interest or have never heard about it.

Some good will come from this event, it will draw a comparison to the AFL China exhibition matches and make them look successful.
I didn't want a crap name anymore !

Haha you are seriously delusional. Bro put your money where your mouth is. How much do you want to bet that the NRL will get a bigger crowd than AFL did in China?

There is not one overseas country in the world where AFL has has had more success than Rugby League at growing their game. Not 1.

As for Americans knowing more about AFL than Rugby League. Then why is there regular Rugby League podcasts hosted by Americans?

https://podcasts.apple.com/au/podcast/r ... 0625826070

Canadians got right on the Wolfpack until COVID ruined everything.
There is nothing like this anywhere on the internet showing AFL crowds like this in North America.

Wolfpack destroyed themselves by massive overspending, they were in serious financial problems before covid.
However, they have been resurrected, and this is them now…look hard a nd you might find a couple of spectators

They are no longer a professional club, so why would they have crowds anymore?
The fact is Rugby League did what AFL could never even dream of achieving in another country.
They set up a professional club, with media interest and growing local support.
COVID is 100% what sunk that team. It made them completely financially unviable as a superleague club. Couldn't travel, so there for they could not get funding from superleague or sponsors when they were not even playing.

I even have the article of the travel ban. Maybe do some actualresearch instead of just making up fake news bro;)

https://amp.sportsmole.co.uk/rugby-leag ... 93172.html

If Sydney Swans stopped playing in the AFL, do you think they would still have funding and supporters? Of course not. They would turn into a financial basket case too.

300 is being generous. Looked to be a lot less than that. :(/

They were broke before covid and they received no funding from Super League, which was one, but only one factor in their demise.
Covid delayed their departure and gave time for their many creditors to start legal action.
Super league rejected their application to rejoin, and who could blame them.

Rugby league in North America is going backwards and the IMG managed Super League in England (and France) will be an interesting undertaking.

No that's fake news. All players were getting paid before the Covid pandemic. It all went down hill when the pandemic hit because they could not honour their contract to the super league

As for Rugby League going backwards in North America. It could go a thousand miles backwards and it will always be doing better than AFL in North America.
Like I said before, there is not one overseas country where AFL is doing better than Rugby League.

AFL has nothing lol.. No professional clubs outside Australia despite being the older sport. You even had a head start and have failed to capitalize in every way at growing your sport at an international level.
China AFL FAIL :(/
New Zealand AFL FAIL   =D

Meanwhile Rugby League has a whole second professional League the UK as well as teams in NZ and France. Then we have a PNG team in QLD cup too.

I am not interested in it being an international sport…Australian Rules it is and Australian Rules it should stay.
However, there are far more australian rules clubs and leagues in the US than Rugby League. Amatuer, yes, but far more.

There aren't even any venues or grounds AFL can be played on.
The culture of AFL would never resonate with Americans or Canadians. There is not one element of the sport they could relate to.
Different shape playing grounds.
Different goals.
Weird rules like being able to drop the ball and play on as well as a point for missing or hitting the side post.

Rugby League at least has similarities to Gridiron which is played professionally in Canada & the U.S.

The AFL would never have been able to set up a club like the Wolfpack and have regular fans going to the games.

Is only a 1 nation sport with no appeal for any other countries.

I actually know you are jealous of the NRL playing games in Vegas. Because you know and we all know the AFL won't be able to do the same.
