Maynard?

What are AFL folk thinking - as a Pies supporter I think he is free to play but we will see changes next year to the rules.

I think his last micro second turn might seem him rubbed out.
It went from a front on spoil to a front on bump….and at that time he wasn’t looking at the ball…all in a fraction of a second.

I would see that as bracing to be honest - not a bump. There was some tribunal precent reported today where they ruled as to why a player was let off - noting a collision where the player was in the air and hit someone high - basically would be the Maynard defence - and it is their own words - basically something about once in the air can not change direction and to brace oneself is a normal response and not a deliberate act.

A bit of dissent about the outcome, may not be over.
Line ball call, the decision took a while.

Well and truely over.

Bomechanist agreed it was reflect action - the amydlia took over.
