Re: fumblers ...
He is talking about participants not TV ratings liebomber.
Seriously how many kids play Rugby League in QLD. I would say not that many as most of them play soccer, cricket or AFL.
Most obviously play soccer & cricket in QLD but I would say Rugby League, Rugby & AFL would be about the same in participation numbers.

" participants " ??
such a cop out term , we all know the fumblers count anyone who has been " forced " to .. participate ... in a auswank session at school ... hell theres some reports they include every kid in the school even tho most never fumble , bumble or miss
disgusting filthy liars
participation means nothing
soccer is the most played sport in QLD , but its A league team is about as popular as the Broncos NRLW team
no one watches it.... anywhere
very much like the bumbling embarrassment from Vicderpia
RL is the states only sport that matters
lots of people want to play it... but can't .. its too hard , too physical
so they watch it instead , similar to the NFL in the USA.... easily the most watched sport ... but playing numbers certainly don't reflect this , when it comes to what those people play tho ...
they play safe
easy
girly
aflol & sooker
the ridiculous claim by the CEO of racistball that QLD is a drops & giggles state is contemptibly laughable
& only koolaide slurping deluded tosspots would believe what hes saying

Re: fumblers ...
Soccer is king of the kids in the USA as far as participation numbers only.
Once the kids arrive home from playing soccer they probably watch what sport their dad has on in the lounge room and that is NFL.
To come home and watch soccer would be unheard of, very uncool and dad hostile.
If dad decides to take the kids on an outing to watch some live sport it ain't going to be soccer, probably baseball, basketball or NFL.
Different story in Queensland, local kids who play Aussie rules will support and follow both NRL and AFL, attending games and watching on television. Thousands of young kids at Sun's and Lions games. The game is growing !

no dickhead
skinny little white twerps in QLD who would like to play RL, but can't cos their mummies & daddies came to QLD from the mo^ng sthn states so they're scared little johnny will get hurt ... play the fumbles & oopsies & they're the only ones
but when its time to watch a real sport , minus singlets , missing fumbles & noodle arms
they watch what all the kids are watching up there
Reece Walsh
the Hammer
& Val Holmes
I mean imagine turning up in the school yard & trying to start a convo about Saint Killed her & whorethorn
they'd get bashed
nah
it'll take another generation or2 , but eventually that bumbling abortion will be bred out of these poor kids

Re: fumblers ...
however the point of this thread is
that fumblers are deluded twats
starting all the way at the top with gill the dill & his ridiculous claims about the progress of the drops & giggles in QLD
& the koolaide slurping aflol drongos believing it
gill is deflecting
trying to draw attention away from the Thuns , being the most appalling team in Australian sport
never played a finals game in their history
12 years , & it looks like it will be 13 at least before they do
no professional team in Aust has a record worse

Re: fumblers ...
AFL in Queensland can only grow bigger.
Next generation of kids from southern state parents will take their love of the game to a new level, it will be bred into them, expect team lists to feature more local talent.
Drive around a be amazed at all the footy ovals that have sprung up like mushrooms in the last 30 years, it's a big number.
A new team in North Queensland is needed to cement the AFL as an all encompassing statewide professional sport that would open up great commercial opportunities for local businesses and enhance future broadcasting deals.
In particular, local and statewide sponsorships would creates even more interest in the game, that is if on field success follows.

I think that is an advantage Aussie Rules does have in non- traditional states - that there is already a decent presence. There are numerous local teams and a number of different leagues so it is easy to join a team and play and not have to travel across the state to do so. You will also see Aussie Rules played in the school years alongside soccer and rugbies. So it’s a viable mainstream alternative. I think Rl would love to have such a presence in non- traditional states. I think it has grown a little in Victoria - but still only the one league with maybe a dozen or so teams for the state - but growing. I can’t speak for SA, WS or Tassie though but don’t think it is too good. Last I read Tassie doesn’t even have a comp? So for Aussie Rules there is at least a good presence where kids and adults can play and engage in the game without any difficulty. It’s just accepted as an alternative sport that many kids choose to okay. Good grassroots presence in school and in community.

Yep. Also said New Zealand would get an AFL team off the back of the 'success' of a few games in Wellington. That was just before the Wellington mayor kicked 'em outta town and said Kiwis had more interest in a bridge to nowhere than they do in AFL lolololololol!!!
Gilty is a well known inveterate liar!! If he was in a court of law they'd lock him up and throw the keys away!!!!
