Is GWS a Canberra team or Western Sydney team?

I really think the AFL needs to decide where this teams actual base is.
Like Canberra is 280 km from Western Sydney.
One area is multicultural and working class while the other is full of well off white collar public servants.
The AFL should put them in either one city or the other. Like who is going to follow a team that is only representing your area 50% of the time?
Is like saying right we are going to have a Collingwood Magpies AFL team representing Geelong too and playing half there games in Geelong, but they will still be called the Collingwood Magpies (if Geelong never had their own AFL team)
That is how farkin dumb the GWS Canberra shared game situation is. And I'm not even an AFL fan lol..
At least change the name to Canberra Western Sydney if you really must represent two completely different places that are nearly 300km apart.

I think many people would agree 100 percent with you on this. I, too, feel it is a mistake playing games in Canberra.

The Ginats are an embarrassment to sport no matter where they are. However I hope they don't close up shop. It's very amusing watching the fumble ball folk telling the usual lies and trying to talk up the friendless, fanless rabble.
I say long live the ginats! We all need a good belly laugh every now and again lolololololol!!!!!!!!!

I agree they need to decide on a permanent base, whether Western Sydney, Canberra or somewhere else.
But they will exist for many years to come.

I tend to agree. Footy is just never going to get popular there. It is a big waste of money for the AFL to keep trying with them. Lets start teams in Canberra, Tasmania & a (possible) NT team.
Western Sydney can just stick with Rugby League & Soccer while most of the rest of the country follows Australia's true national football code in winter.

If you really did hate racism you would have brought up the Letrell Mitchel thing. But let me guess that is ok because it happened in Rugby League.

The funniest thing I have heard said by multiple AFL industry types is The Giants will one day be the largest football club in Australia due to them covering the largest population for a team.
Like what shit were they smoking to believe that
They are giving kids free entry half the time as it is just to get some kind of crowd to turn up.
