Yes, agree. Rather than "lower" themselves to RL they have moved across to AFL as it likely aligns more to their way of life so to speak in sydney.

Clueless Fred is at it again!! He follows a sport that has systemic generational racism. A sport where the exec's are bonking the junior staff at headquarters. A sport that that unleashes anti sematic insults on a 17 year of kid. A sport that runs one of it's greatest Aboriginal players outta the game.......cause he was black. I'm not so sure about that, I see a lot of soccer fans with no interest in AFL. Especially first generation Australians from places like South America, Europe & The Middle East.
