In a disaster for fumblehouse yesterday's grand final 5 city ratings were, in the words of AFL apologist Mr TV, "the lowest of all time" lololololol!!!!!!!

Sydney Swans, who some commentators say are the biggest club in town, rated 375k in Sydney. In their 2005 GF appearance they rated 991k in the city. That's some drop off!!!

In further embarrassment fumble boss gilty spruiked before the game that it would be the highest rating of all time. Unfortunately he only got that one wrong by polar opposites lolloloololol. It was actually the lowest!!!

Then again Gilty is not exactly known for telling the truth!!!!

For contrast the 2019 GF which featured the other Sydney fumble team GWS got 5 city numbers of 2.197k. At the time the lowest for 26 years. In Sydney it rated 372k. Just 3k lower than yesterday's disaster.

So much for the Swans, the much lauded biggest team in Sydney lolololo!!!!!!

I heard this too. Apparently even the Panthers Rabbitohs semi final match had more viewers in Sydney the AFL grand final had in Sydney.

Well Fred if it was on t the same time as the real football you would have got next to zero Sydney viewers and more attractive shows would have seen many others switch over.

No. It won't move. The reason for the poor ratings was because it was a shit game - the second in a row at the MCG on GF day - not because either the Swans or the Giants were playing. Could someone check back to 2007? That may prove the point.
