Post by Beaussie »

Games at the SCG, Accor Stadium and possibly Blacktown with free tickets for all AFL club members. Set to be held during the Easter school holidays this will be huge for footy in NSW and great for the NSW economy with footy fans from all over the country headed to Sydney.

"One in every 24 Australians is now a member of an AFL club, a sign that the national reach of Australian football has never been greater," League CEO Gillon McLachlan said.

Not needed.
They are reporting that it will be an extra round…

I wonder if it was included in the broadcast negotiations for future games or will it be up for bids?

There are lies, damn lies and then there are ratings.
