thuns on their way ( maybe) to the finals
titans looking at their 2nd wooden spoon in 4 seasons
crowds at their respective last matches both on fine sunny afternoons
thuns 10,507
titans 14,290

Yeah - as said - don't put too much credence in membership numbers. Count only full year memberships and okay. But these 1 game (NRL), 3 game etc are silly.

You will find that for home games (those that are played at their home ground in front of their home crowd) there is only about 11% difference, not too bad for your version of rugby league heartland.truthbomber wrote: ↑Mon Jun 20, 2022 6:07 pmthey're not within 33% of the tits , in your deluded fumbler mind is that .. near ??Quolls2019 wrote: ↑Mon Jun 20, 2022 10:06 amWhat, in your mind, is “get near”?truthbomber wrote: ↑Sun Jun 19, 2022 4:03 pmyet still can't get near the last placed Titans for crowds

Re: Battle of the Gold Coast - Suns vs Titans
Gold Coast is RL territory by a country mile. The fact that the suns get even close to the titans - and beat them in some years for home ground crowds shows just how much people on the GC have not embraced them. There are many reasons for this - not to mention the previous club owner ripping off many tradies who built the stadium/excellence centre. Also, an already established RL area having a brand new teams would naturally find it difficult to get supporters behind them as many already have an NRL team. So don't confuse the popularity of the Titans with the popularity of the RL and NRL - the later still clearly very much the dominant code.
