I would think the AFL would only be disappointed in last Thursday nights crowd, the other Thursday nights have had quite reasonable crowds.
This shows the Thursday night game attendances and the lowest attendance of that round (in brackets), excepting WA & SA home games as they still had crowd restrictions nor have I included GC or GWS home games as the are habitually low.

Not too bad at all really.
No idea why the Richmond game was poorly attended…the weather, Port..or Richmond off the boil?
I have had a cursory look at the NRL Thursday night games…oh dear. More forthcoming.

wait til you've had 250 Thursday night games , that aren't on the eve of a public holiday or early in the year when the weather is warmer like most of those are there , then you'll see your cwowds ( already falling off a cliff in 2022 ) on Thursdays be just a tad

with more Thursday Night Games scheduled every round, i could only see the Average going down.
there a 2 games i have never been too in the NRL
Thursday Night Fixture and the 6pm Friday Night Game.

It was long and good until those damn pies spoilt it….at least the food, company and beer was great.

Again, this is a decent crowd however these used to be regular for big matches - used to be when 90000 attended it was seen as massive.

50,741 - Is this a pass?? I think not - if played on a Friday Night or Saturday or Sunday Afternoon it should have has another 15 to 20 Thousand - however this year - with crowds down across the board - who knows.

True - weather was poor - maybe just a pass. Still would have liked to see say 60000 for a pass.
