The NRL has taken Darwin with huge numbers of " easterners " moving there in recent years
Darwin has 165K of the NT's 253K population

leaving only desert dwellers left for the fumblers .... they can have them

NT is Aussie rules. Fact. You can blabber all you want. You can't change anything. Average attendance at Marrara in the long term (which is where it really counts) is a win for the AFL. More Aussie Rules is played in the NT than thugby. Fact. If RL had taken over there would be more than just six clubs in Darwin. There are ten Aussie Rules clubs. Straight up - the NT is AFL territory.

Want to prove me wrong? Tell the NRL to play another game in Darwin during a season, and play a game in Alice Springs. But they won't. Why? Because they are in enemy territory and even they know it. You don't - and that says plenty about your connection to reality.

Darwin does not say otherwise. Darwin wants AFL. It has way more clubs that thugby league. That is a fact. Along with the fact that the NRL only played one game there and the AFL played two. So where's the NRL's second game? I know the answer. It's not NRL territory.

Live with it. And go to Kununurra on Saturday and learn about the best game on the planet - Aussie Rules.
