But the thing is in the AFL states footy is extremely popular yet in the Rugby League states Rugby League is not really that popular at all except when Origin is on.

So percentages on that.
Petey, Petey, Petey.............dear oh dear.............how can a bloke be so studid: "...in the Rugby League states Rugby League is not really that popular..". This is possibly the most idiotic statement of all time pal lolololololol.

Pete ya silly dill, RL is the most watched sport in NSW & Qld by the length of the milky way. In fact, as you know, it out rates fumbling in all of Australia year after year. There is a strong argument that RL is more popular in the educated states than fumbling is in Vic and the desert states lololololol.

I won't make that argument as I'm not as stupid as you. What I will state is that RL is far and away the most popular sport in NSW/Qld as is fumbling in the southern developing states.

I hope this helps you not make such a dill of yaself into the future Petey boyo. Have a great day pal!!!!

yes AFL states are well attended and well watched on tv

Rugby League is popular though is just better to watch on Tv than Attend.
Majority of games in Sydney are played at stadiums that fit 15k to 20k
Panthers are getting 16-18k every game, which is a sell out..

the atmosphere a 16k crowd produces at rectangle Ground is actually quite good.

put 16k at Olympic Park and it is a joke.

If RL was so much better to watch on TV then why such crowds at SoO - with the crowds making the atmosphere what it is.

that is easy and simple to answer
for example in Sydney.

You have all the fans of the clubs which combine to attend the game to support your state in a series.
which brings the support of rugby league fans in numbers to "ONE TEAM"

which than brings in big numbers on Tv..

drawn by an ignorant fumbler no doubt

needs to be re drawn, with NT firmly ours now
wave it bye bye fumblers

bye bye NT
