Games this year seem like there are a ton of free kicks being paid. It seems like every passage of play has at least one free kick in it. Sometimes it seems like no one knows what they are for. Think it’s too black and white - need to use some judgement when paying them I think - you get it in a grand final when people congratulate the umpiring for letting it go a little and just paying the obvious ones - why not do this all season?

Referrers and Umpires love to get in the way of the game,
and the Sport becomes over umpired

as the world changes for the worse.. the governing bodies love to change the game
and install idiotic rule changes.
