Hope this works this time : Clearlt raining at 11:24 am and quite heavy too. The comment that it was “blazing sun all morning” is clearly wrong.
show me where i said it was blazing sunshine ALL morning you dribbling moron
I said the footage in the first qtr had blazing sunshine during it ,
&
it did , it was completely rain free & the ground looked bone dry in that 1st qtr so your claim it was raining just before it started

it a bare faced lie :^o :^o :^o :^o :^o :^o
the truth & fumblers , its just not possible [-( [-( [-( [-( [-( [-(

Yes, I need to lie about whether it was raining or not! I’ve drawn far too much into this dribble and that’s my fault. I shouldn’t have cared whether you believe me or not. It rained, I know it rained (I was there and live there), the weather map showed it rain, the camera has rain on it, the commenters talked about the slippery conditions etc. you don’t think it rained based on a 90 second period you saw on tv where the sun poked through- so be it. We will agree to disagree. It doesn’t really matter.

On the contrary, i think it does matter, it proves beyond reasonable doubt that his opinions are based on his fractured view of the world and not fact.
I do agree on your previous posts that he should be ignored, but sometimes he seems to go out of his way not to be.
And that is most likely the intention.
I shall try to do better.

what are we trying to say in this entire Thread.

That when it rains it effects crowd numbers ??

of course it does..

always get a but but when a NRL crowd from a thundering Cyclone storm registers 5k
and you wonder why ...

in most sports around the world it is called off and postponed.

Rugby League actually plays through it

No, this thread was about “did it rain on the gold coast” on the day of the game, and one of your idiot comrades denied strenuously.
To say anything else is disappointing from you.

Actually, I was stating I did not think this was the major factor - more so that Freo were the opposition. Hence I had no reason to lie about it raining - but anyway... the point being made by truthbomber was that it was not raining until after 1st quarter - and hence the rain would not have effected people's decision to come. I was just pointing out it certainly was raining in the morning - that I went out for breakfast and it was a steady rain then - about 10:00am. It walked to the ground being dropped off and wasn't raining - but it did rain prior to the game as I was in it sitting in the member's bar - was a very light indeed but significant. But I made this all up apparently despite there being rain on the camera when I watched the first quester back which was clearly evident. But again, I was stating I think the low crowd was more freo being the opposition, not the rain. I started the thread as I had a thread about Tasmania in the AFL thread (deliberately not the fight club thread) to avoid the crap that it eventually descended into anyway. I did foolishly get dragged into it which is my bad and should know better, would be good if you could clean the Tasmania thread up actually and take out all the crap that took it off topic.

So that is why this thread is here. To discussed whether it rain Sunday morning - not about crowds at all actually - simply as to whether it rained. I showed it did in the whether map - so really end of discussion.

And AFL don't play in the rain?
as you are aware, northern states usually get more vicious storms because of the humidity and tropical climate.
NRL games are effected quite alot some years...

and i already confirmed it rained on the day (lightly)
and it is going to rain all weekend too
