Cashed up Paramount/Channel 10, Amazon and Channel 9 bidding along with Channel 7/Foxtel with Foxtel wanting all Saturday games exclusive and their own commentators for all games.

Channel 10/Paramount please I say. Make it happen Gill

Fox wants own commentators for all AFL games, not Seven’s
By Jake Niall

The AFL has received pitches for the broadcast rights – a deal that underpins the finances of the 18 clubs and the game – from not only Seven and Foxtel, but also cashed-up Paramount, the owner of Channel 10, and global giant Amazon is also believed to have a case for at least one of the nine games. Paramount, which would share the rights between 10 and pay-streaming service Paramount Plus, has bid for the entire rights.

Channel Nine, the owner of this masthead, also is a potential bidder for a share of the rights.

Um beatup 'ol pal 'ol mate, 'ol chum this is ummm.......a beatup lolololol!! In your little diatribe you said, "Cashed up Paramount/Channel 10, Amazon and Channel 9 are bidding along with Channel 7/Foxtel......."

The 'bidding' word is what you said pal. But it ain't in the article lololololol!!!! You just made it up. Like Gilty and the boyos did lololol!! The actual article said the AFL had received 'pitches'. In other words they have spoken to 'em. Or in reality Gilty 'pitched' to Ten/Paramount and then told lies about a $600M 'bid'. It never happened loolololol!!

Then the article says, "Channel Nine, the owner of this masthead, also is a potentialbidder for a share of the rights." Meaning possibly, maybe, could be, some time, who knows lolololoololol!!!! They haven't made a bid pal lololo!!! It's another beatup.

This is fair dinkum hilarious. But do keep on beatup. We need all the laughs we can get in this crazy world.

the story doesn't give a single figure up, not one .
the aflol have their figure from foxtel & 7.. & its grim reading . Pocket pissing phrases like securing the finances of its 18 clubs etc is the start of the turd polishing , the spin.

how many fumbleball clubs & fans will call the aflol on these lies of a 3 billion deal ?
my guess
none

they're sheep
bleating .. dumb , cheerleaders

reading between the lines , foxtel are pushing hard to end exclusive FTA games in the aflol ......... everywhere

how could they secure an NRL style super Saturday where they telecast games exclusively if 8 or even 4 teams never played on Saturdays because they must be on FTA.
just vicderpian ones on saturdays ....phhhhttttt :(/ :(/
big push here to end the exclusive non vicderpian fta rule

Ch 7 not happy
fans outside of vicderpia .... not happy

kluster fuck much

Quite Interesting, we new along the lines FOX wanted Exclusives, but entire Saturday
if this were to occur that is huge..

it has been in the NRL now for 24+ plus years now.

they want there own commentators and exclusives.

pretty much exactly how the NRL broadcast is..

Are they AFL willing to do this at the same time losing FTA to home states.

what i find funny is...

there was apparently a 3 billion Bid made,

now they are saying this will not be met due to the current expenses and economy..

so what Ch10 reduced there fee now...

(also channel 9's apparent bid for Thursday's is laughable..

channel 7 will not except this and will want a deal with fox it would also have no bidding tension on the bid with ch9's throw in the dark
1 night a week game.

again all signs point to fox and ch7 with little no tension in this round of rights.
yes there will be rise.. on the tv deal, as AFL will be giving more away / expansion ?? and inflation
but not because of rivals stealing the product.

i would think FOX will still offer a decent wack and increase for tv Rights.
in hope they can increase subs in non RL heartlands through Exclusives..

there is no way in the world they are paying same coin for the same deal.

Beatup, do you actually read the articles or just the headlines pal? No wonder you get it so wrong so often. The article said they received 'bids' last week. Which is kinda funny as Gilty and the boys have been talking up 'bids' for months. Remember the $600M 'bid' from Ten/Paramount lololololol!!! Oh yeah............never happened.

The main point from the article is they're now talking down the numbers. They won't get what they want. Seven and Fox are now a shoo-in. Which is also kinda funny...............because you know.............Ten/Paramount........Gilty........$600M................oh...........lies lolololololol!!!

They're now desperate. Funny stuff!!! Let it roll on!!!!!

Ten’s $500m rights bid falls short of AFL goal

Network Ten has lobbed a bid of less than $500m a year for the AFL broadcast rights, a figure seen by the governing body as underwhelming- putting foxtel and seven west media in the box seat>>

they go on to state below>>>

The Australian boss of US entertainment giant Paramount has played down talk it offered the AFL $600 million for its broadcast rights, but said the company was chasing deals that were in its commercial interests

Some of those [AFL] numbers are plucked from thin air and don’t really mean anything without context,” McGarvey said. “Like, is that [$600 million] for 20 years? There’s nothing we are going to talk about right now. Most of the speculation that we’ve read doesn’t feel super accurate.”

This is becoming a comical circus lololololol!!!!!! Todays SMH article is titled Paramount plays down AFL bid lololol!!!!. It looks the lying and bullshitting that Gilty and the boys were spruiking have come home to roost.

No one but 7 and Fox are interested in the mess. Paramount are now publicly lampooning the AFL. They are straight out calling them liars. This is like a Benny Hill show on eternal rewind lololololol!!!!!!

Whattaya say Beatup????? What about you Fwed????? Any takers to talk up fumble houses "bidding war" lolololol!!!!! In fact it's not a war.....it's not even a truce........it's a surrender lololololololol!!!!!!!!!!! Gilty oughtta be court martialled !!!
