The second night of the NRL kicked off with Nine’s live coverage of Friday Night NRL bringing in 370,000 metro viewers, 212,000 regional viewers and was the fourth most-watched program **** 16-39 year-olds.

The match between Brisbane Broncos and the South Sydney Rabbitohs brought in a Sydney audience of 182,000 and a Brisbane audience of 152,000 as the Broncos took the win with 11-4 at Lang Park.

Kayo has been releses and Kevin Perry from TV Blackbox reports that NRL round 1 2022 was the all-time highest performing regular season round on the Foxtel group with a massive average of 473k per game.

Tigers v Storm was the highest regular season game of all time coming in with 547k - incredible!! The average is up 15% on R1 2021. It means the round will top 5M in total viewers. Poor 'ol bumsniffing wookie will be very busy wiping that giant omelette of his face lololol!
