It’s hilarious how fumblefans think that because some players come from QLd that it shows interest in AFL .
There’s got to be a sport out there for the not so coordinated..the ones who want a reward for not being able to kick straight .
The ones who it doesn’t matter if you can’t catch ..if you fumble continuously
Then AFL is king

RL is king in QLd.
& as I posted previously .
Sign up day a few yrs ago in SEQ had AFL last .
Not dodgy participation figures but sign ups for actual weekend comps
A true indication of grassroots support . .
its a soft sport for lads who'll grow up to be lady boys one day     :(/ :(/ :(/

Getting back on topic - I think the biggest issue with that poll is the number of people who are elsewhere. Not Aussie Rules, not RL, not soccer, not even cricket. 35 percent elsewhere.

That is truly disturbing.

I just saw last nights ratings for AFL & NRL.

786,000 for the footy
385,000 for the Rugby League.

Yet you Rugby League guys think your sport is watched by more people than the AFL. Its laughable how deluded you are.

It was a final up against a home and away - but still - there was a lot on the line in the Storm game.

Yeah true Fred. But a top 4 AFL home & away game would still out rate a bottom 4 NRL final.

The Storm game got 32,000 viewers in Melbourne for a top 4 massive clash. That is a joke.

How surprising
A fumbler trying to compare a Final to an ordinary round fixture .
I suppose it’s all you have when you’re getting smashed in the ratings .

Petey, you can’t be this stupid surely. Nationally the game rated about 1.2 million. You’re embarrassing yourself pal!
