NSW Waratahs to call Leichhardt Oval home

From the Sydney Football Stadium to odd games at Stadium Australia and Parramatta Stadium… now off to Leichhardt Oval. :shock:

Wonder why Brookvale Oval said no.

That's interesting. I'll probably check out a couple of games at the 8th wonder of the world as it's just down the road. I suspect they'll get fairly good crowds there especially when they play other oz teams.

Yeah Interesting why Brooky said no..

NSW will still be playing games at the SCG and Parramatta Stadium i am pretty sure..

Be interesting the see the crowds for the 2023 season for the new flashing stadium..

The council knocked them back because of the centre of excellence being built and the ground being re- surfaced.

I reckon LO could suit them ok. Anything over a 10k crowd will be a grea atmosphere and there s plenty of Rugby supporters in the inner west.

oh yeah true, Union starting earlier did not help. Manly Scheduled to play March 27th

Yeah i have no doubt they will get decent crowds, corporates will be missing though
