Just came across the following video with Eddie on Footy Classified outlining how Tasmania could join the competition with their own team along with the logical further expansion to a 20 team comp to create a 10th game to sell to broadcasters.
A 3rd Western Australian club is also an option, but I’m with Eddie on this, a Northern Crocs team playing games in North Queensland, Darwin and perhaps a game in Alice Springs to create a truly national competition for Australia’s Game.
Thoughts?

I think both teams would be a success... with HUGE amounts of money..
and what Eddie has put forward for Tasmania to work..
is crazy amounts.. it would be the biggest funded club in Australia.
NQ team would also need huge funds,
and I dont think the AFL could afford to fund two major teams in the comp
especially while funding Suns and Giants.
