The gulf between the 2 heavy weights & the rest is growing not diminishing
the NRL flexed its muscles & how , in round one with more then 5.2 Million watching their opening round when 9NOW is included.

the more popular NRL gets the less Union seems to rate
33mill per season for Union from NINE ) are they getting there money's worth ...

It will be interesting to see how the internationals rate.
2/7 up against cats v roos, suns v pies. rabbitohs v eels

going by last years figures, they were lower than Channel 10 and Fox figures.
since 9 and stan have taken over it has only dived in viewership.
it is a strong line up in International Teams too

Nine won the night with a network share of 31.8% and a primary share of 19.1%. 9Gem took out the multichannel win with 6.7%, while Seven had a network share of 29.2%.
For the first time since 2016, England took on the Wallabies on home turf on Nine’s Rugby: 2022 Wallabies v England coverage. 412,000 people tuned in to watch The Wallabies take a 30-28 win over England in match one. The pre-match pulled in an audience of 291,000, while the post-match reached 239,000 viewers.

Whatever way you look at it.
Going by the figures not including Stan FIgures.
412k METRO for AUS v ENG is not a good result for one of the biggest games in a calendar year for the wallabies

that is because Union is a blackout on media fronts.
