NRL trainers on field

Went out to the parra match the other night and to my disgust noticed one or two stgeorge trainers on the field for approx 30mins out of the 40mins in the first half! They were on the field less in the second but i still found this to be appalling. What really worried me is they seemed to be barking instructions to the players. Noone was injured and noone was taking in fluids. And even in the second half after the first tackle was made there was the stgeorge trainer in the background, i even noticed two of them standing in the in goal while parramatta were attacking from 20metres out!!!! And it looked to me as though they were assisting the players read the eels next play.

Bloody atrocious if you ask me. What i want to know is is there a rule as to how much they're aloud on the field? I'm sure there is. This example was blatantly a coaching strategy from nathan brown and I really believe it to be foul play as a team shouldnt be allowed to have an 'onfield coach'. Any thoughts?

The word 'boasting' in your above post is grossly misused. I recall saying this "Yeah I'll write one up". Please look up the word boasting in the dictionary beaussie as I dont think you understand the meaning. :)

And where is your article?

I noticed on the news this morning the Melbourne Storm have made an official complaint to the NRL about the amount of time the Wests Tigers trainer was on the field providing instructions.

Whats the point of having this forum?

It was meant to allow discussion of topics submitted for the Soapbox. Granted it seems to be a dud of an idea.
