Actually UFC has held events in numerous cities around the world with no complaints.

I’ve never understood this rivalry thing .. Sydney has some great things and not so great. Melbourne same. I think most states and cities have something unique and great to offer. Melbourne the culture and dinning is world class. Obviously spirting events. Sydney has a great harbour ... awe inspiring and wine great beaches too close enough to the city. Sydney city is a shit hole and an arse to traverse and Melbourne doesn’t have the beautiful beaches at the same level as Sydney. Of course Gold Coast shits all over these beaches . But all cities in Australia have something to offer. We are very lucky.

Yeah I never understood it either. Never been to Sydney, looks very pretty and I assume most of the people there are perfectly normal. Sydney has the aesthetics and international prowess, I don't see why they would give a fuck about Melbourne or feel the need to degrade it.
No beach culture isn't true, I only live about 5 mins from a beach myself which is hardly a shithole, but not comparable to Bondi or Coogee, where I doubt any of you live.

The festivals had softer style music than Sydney. The sport is softer too.
Lets be honest League is a much harder game than AFL.
Seems to more a gym culture in Sydney too and a more blokey culture similar to America here compared to Melbourne.
