Still no source
Just Gould & Parra having asome bad years .
Lol so predictable
Funny how your trying to deflect away knowing how bad and pathetic the nrlol clubs finances are by comparing him the Eddie Maguire

And afl fans apparently live in a bubble

Nope
The point went straight over your empty head
Like it always does .
Gould & McChins are similar
Club bosses or have been .
Commentator roles
Column space in the media .

So the question was asked
If what Gould says is gospel...no matter how unsourced his opinion is
Then do you treat whatever comes out of McChins mouth the same .
Simple question .

I'm not saying what his says is gospel - what I am wondering is what has he based these on. My assumption is that he just hasn't plucked this out of thin air - that there is something he would be basing it on. But what?

They have no come back and are in denial are the league fans!
First to mock gws and gcs and then go throw insults when mentioning something negative about the nrlol

https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&source= ... 3686284642

https://www.nrl.com/news/2018/06/15/nrl ... e-surplus/

2 or 3 years ago only two nrlol clubs made a profit broncos and cowboys mainly due to being on field successful, all other made losses

Last season only 5 to 8 nrl clubs were expected to make profits based on the back on increased distribution money from the new broadcast deal, aka more hands outs!

Yet all the nrl fans do is ignore this! Mock Gould & keep kicking the can down the road with gws and gcs.

The nrl lived from one broadcast deal to the next as proven on the past two occasions!

It’s a no wonder the tin foil had loons don’t even want to go near or come to the realisation of this!

NRL CEO Greennerg has come out, and stated No Sydney club will be relocated.

and they are focusing on the Footprint of the game,

(WHICH WILL BE RELEASED TO NRL COMMISSION IN DEC

He stated, new Qld team was a priority but did not give too much a way
and also said there are other teams wanting to enter the league from other cities..

you would think for the NRL to expand in 2022 / 2023
would be

1 team $1.02
2 teams $1.90

Chief executive Todd Greenberg has confirmed the NRL is looking at 16, 17 or 18 as the magic number of teams as part of a review into the game’s footprint and competition structure ahead of the next broadcast rights agreement.

The NRL has been working for eight months on determining the optimum number of teams in the Telstra Premiership and where they should be located before deciding whether the competition should be expanded and whether to relocate clubs.

The gold coke titans and the Minnowbourne Storm were the nrlolw last attempts at expansion!

At one stage the Minnowbourne Storm has debts of over 100 million and are still the most irrelevant professional football team in Melbourne
https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&source= ... 8532480057

And Gold Coast Titans are similar millions in debt, were about to be closed down by asic and were training in a local school and administration operating out of a council building on the Gold Coast!

It’s a no wonder the nrlol is so hesitant for a new team
Start off a new broadcast deal, then broke by contracts end like the last two occasions and failed to obtain a bank loan to pay running costs

Bring on the new expansion ASAP I say

That precisely explains the NRLs hesitation.
If they were to have sustained budget blow outs for the new clubs year after year like the AFL has seen.
How long do you think the NRL could maintain them?

A budget to run an afl club is twice that of an nrlol club!
Get proof on that claim

For the record the afl has money to burn when ever it wants to on
The past two occasions of a new broadcast deal the nrlol and its idiot fans dribble on about expansion and how well doing financially they are only to end up broke a few years later and failing to get a basic bank loan to pay running costs!
With the PC brigade coming hard for those poker machines the 101 of nrlol club survival revenue stream the next attempt of expansion for the nrlol is gonna be a belter!
For any afl fan

I do know an AFL Club is more expensive to run... (i do not care)

also i think the NRL will play it safe with expansion. #QLD side
And second Expansion will have to be solid for it to go through.
