Lions 24741k. Crap for 15 years
Newscorp broncos 28794k 30 years of success

Lions play in a lower capacity venue as well and have the BCC to deal with ticket allocation!

Given that your already in denial and struggling to keep up and understand by previous posts

Simple advice increase that lemon supply

Since 1997 the home average is
Broncos: 28,843
Lions: 24,369

The lions have achieved higher home average 6 times over that period.
Not bad for a team that has been a “basket case” for 15 years, in a one team “totally” NRL town against the most successful and popular NRL club in that time.
Unless the Broncos have a massive crowd this Friday it will be the lowest home average since 2004 as well as an average below 30,000 for the same period.
As far as being always successful the Broncos have had a season home crowd average below 30,000 in 13 seasons and 5 of those being below 20,000.
So for the lions being a “basket case” for so long, in a minnow code in Queensland, and, compared to other AFL Clubs but not NRL teams, had some woeful years. 24,369 to 28,369 is not too bad at all.

Lions consistency and/or another Chuckball team in Brisbane will bring that Average much closer.

Since only the last sentence was opinion what part of the facts is comedy?

Unfortunately the best I can expect who argue that Chuckball is football and Australian Rules (which was the FIRST codified form of football) is not. Numerous Raving Loonies.

I do agree that it is “GOLD”. Close to goals, another part of football, but not Chuckball.

Fantastic, now explain how during that period lions became in debt to tune of 13 million?

Well for a start they apparently lost a huge amount of money during the GFC in 2008-09.
7 million is loans which isnt really that a negative a thing.
They owe 10 million to the AFL, but the AFL is never going to demand it.
Right!! Well all good then.....nothing to see here!!!! Move on folks!!!! Typical partisan un-objective response!!

Every club goes through times of being in debt for one reason or another, development of new facilities etc and that was the lions time
Isn’t theirs thread about the popularity of newscorp broncos?

Currently most of the nrlol clubs are running in loses and have debts. A few years ago the titans just down the road from the lions were in debt to the tune of 35 odd million something rather hilarious in it self but more so tonthe point an nrlol club requires half the budget of an afl club

I think they lost money on investments like the club at Springwood I think it is? Certainly churning enough through the gates so no issue there.
