Got no issue him expressing an opinion per se despite having issues with the content. He is entitled to his beliefs and he is stating he wants homosexuals to be ‘saved”. However with any comment he needs to be accountable for its content and that comment may be seen to be reprehensible and abhorrent by many including myself, and he is answerable to this. If he said having sex with a child was okay he is entitled to that opinion however faces the eye of public scrutiny for such a comment and belief. So does an organisation have a right to ban or refuse to allow someone to be part of its group. I think they do ... regardless of the comment. Here’s the kicker though ... where is that line. If someone states they hold particular religious beliefs ... can they be excluded ? Say they support Islam ... can a Christian organisation exclude them ? If they support terrorism that’s a no brained for any organisation ... but where is that line? Maybe that’s why there is a debate.
