League as an olympic sport would be just like the RL world cup.

But AFL just don't have any other countries that play or care about their sport at any decent competitive level.

Exactly, one where players can play for multiple countries thanks to piss week player representation laws to attempt to even the teams out, yet Australia always dominates!


One would hate to have such a pathetic sport after all these years that is classed as international, being a direct rip off of another vastly popular international code and still be on these levels!

this is crapper. if rl was an international sport as well, that is how it would play out as it seems to do so in nearly all nrlol international meets

the AFL would be a similar situation

Can you show me an article about these articles every few years calling for Australian Rules Football to become an Olympic sport as you state there are? I know there are the odd article about players who maybe would do well in a spurt at the Olympics which are just fluff pieces but if there is an article calling for Australian rules football to become an Olympic sport I would indeed agree with you that such calls, if serious, is not only stupid but idiotic.
