The media reported on some twit from AFI, no affiliation with the AFL, who is trying to market a 9's version of AFL. No use speed climbing being accepted as an olympic sport as an example of an obscure sport making it to the olympics.

The journalist never said it would make it, they were only reporting the AFI's comments.
