Every AFL game is on KAYO from my understanding, so I think it will appeal to both
correct,
Both codes have all games..

but with the NRL you can only catch 5 Exclusive games which are on FOX>

with the cheaper entry level, this will entice you would think more NRL fans over other codes.

as the NRL have more subscribers on FOXTEL>> you would think that would also translate
with KAYO Sports.

NRL should be number 1 on both.
NRL will have an advantage over SA and WA given they see their AFL club every weekend anyway. Vic subscriptions may be at similar rates to NSW and QLD
hopefully in time, we get a breakdown of numbers
regional cities states averages etc etc etc
i am sure this will be made available..

especially if KAYO SPORTS takes off

even knowing they are only 18 trial matches..

This is a first sign >> no major impact on figures With Kayo Sports being on the market.
with an increase in figures..

Hey Leeroy,

This might be silly question, but.
Has any viewer numbers ever been released from footy streaming services?
League apps, Kayo etc.

will just have to sit tight and wait and see.

Thats right pal. Because they dropped between 10-20% throughout the season. Which in anybodies language is massive. I fully expect you and ya brother would go ballistic if the NRL had a similar drop.

different venues and country towns!
meh its only a pre-season comp where the teams play for nothing!

its not like the crowds have been down for several years in the main H&A season like in the NRLOL :)))

kayo and Fox dont release subscription numbers.
Fox numbers are counted in OZTAM VPM surveys - this is Foxtel Now/Go.

All we know is
Mr Thomson said the sports streaming platform had attracted 115,000 subscribers as of February 5, including 100,000 paying subscribers, as he presented News Corp’s results for the second quarter of the 2019 financial year.

Out of the 2.9 million Foxtel subscribers (at the end of December), 2.5 million were broadcast and commercial, with the remaining 400,000 accessing the content via on-demand app Foxtel Now and Kayo Sports.

Do you think they'll ever release sport by sport breakdown?
