No information has been supplied.

This will be the biggest year for streaming numbers
with Kayo Sports etc

you would think they would have to start sharing info on viewing figures soon..

Kayo Numbers are at 120k
be interesting to see how much it climbs as we get closer to the footy season in both codes.

I know lots of AFL fans who are dropping fox for Kayo. You'd imagine we should see a drop in Fox ratings

You make a great point Leeroy.
A true picture of things.
With a single oztam box represent close to 3000 viewers there is a massive margin for error.
How all you guys take them so seriously is beyond me.
Maybe one day we'll all be streaming live content and a true picture of things will be available.

They claim to be accurate . The Networks seem to agree. Though I can see how Sports Capita might think differently

They are only inaccurate when the afl wins the ratings!

Like most of the time :(/

I've just had a quick look at the JLT pre-season ratings. It's a bit hard to compare at this stage as last year they were split rounds. However last years comp. avg rating per game was 80k on fox according to Wookie. That was 13% down on 2017 numbers.

This years first round attracted 626k viewers at an average of 69.5k on fox. That is another drop of 12%. Now......we all know I don't make outlandish statements but consecutive drops of 13% & 12% is ………..lets just say...…. not good!!!!

Is the fumbling league continuing last years massive ratings drop off??? Time will tell.

I expect the two remaining fumblers here, senior and junior, to be furiously typing ranting, spittle laden responses lolololol. They'll be competing for elbow room in the bedroom they share in nannas attic. Good luck boyo's lololololol.

We've already mentioned Fox's streaming service which I know many AFL fans have taken up in preference to Fox, Including me.

Are they included in your figures?

And right on cue here they are lololololololol. No pal. As stated in my post it is fox ratings. You really do need to read more carefully.

If you have streaming numbers from last year and this year to compare please share them with us.

I suspect you haven't so you will use the unknown streaming figure as your deflection for this issue. So predictable!!!!!!!

Now go and wake up junior pal so he can join the fray. I could do with a good belly laugh lololololol.

Isn’t the ratings system only credible when the nrlol wins and isn’t when the afl regularly does :(/

Settle down Terry, I was merely pointing the TV scheduling conditions for the JLT for last year and this year are not the same. Kayo has definitely made some inroads into Fox's subscriptions, and these numbers are not counted in your data (I knew that, was merely pointing out your misleading data and typically inaccurate conclusions)

https://tvblackbox.com.au/page/2019/3/4 ... drama-kayo
Since officially launching in December, KAYO has already obtained over 100,000 subscribers and is expected to grow substantially once the AFL and NRL seasons commence.
