Melbourne Storm axe cheerleaders for gender diverse dance crew.

Anybody else heard this? I almost kind of expect it from a place like Melbourne. A city well known for political correctness and a strong advocate for gender neutral cultures.
I'm glad Qld teams refuse to bow to this pc crap as well as my team (Manly).
Lets hope the rest of the NRL clubs follow the NFLs lead with this instead of the AFLs.

yeah, its not a huge loss, but i do perfer cheerleaders over no cheerleaders..
be interesting to see how this "Dance Crew" go
if a success we could see more clubs make a move..

It just annoys me that because it offends small minorities, suddenly a traditional sporting culture in Rugby League is being sabotaged.
I've seen the dance crew. They are farkin ridiculous. I don't want to see blokes dancing when I'm at the footy.
If I wanted to see that, I would go to a Swans game.
Anyway. Glad it is not my team.

my team the St George do a great thing with there cheerleaders.
they involve hundreds of girls through the club through this source.

Yes and that has happened because the city of of Melbourne has a very politically correct culture there compared to places like Qld.
