for doing the homework on this one!rugby365 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 10, 2019 11:38 amThink you should have checked your facts too parra, both Jamaica and Serbia played rugby long before they played league, in fact Serbia union team played their first international in 1818, Serbia’s first rugby league international was in in 2003, Jamaica’s union team first game was in 1960, Jamaican rugby league first played in 1998. Lebanon was the only player you country you listed that played league before union which was only by 5 years. So to say Lebanon, Serbia and Jamaica “have ever played union” is factually incorrect.ParraEelsNRL wrote: ↑Sat Feb 09, 2019 2:05 pmWrong, Lebanon, Jamaica, Serbia and a few countries that play in the Balkan super league haven't ever played union, they're playing League now tho. So I guess League is the bigger code in those places.leeroy*NRL* wrote: ↑Tue Jan 29, 2019 9:28 am
becasue those countries >> like the rugby codes...
because of the BRITISH EMPIRE expanding these games. globally...
League only has it over Union in 2 countries PNG and AUS
league was more popular than UNION in France for short period..
before it was BANNED BY the Government... If you dont believe me .. use google..
i will say one thing.. at least league is played in number of countries..
i no its not as big as UNION world wide..
but its lot bigger than AFL worldwide..
If only afl had a game that was popular and successful world wide to piggy back off like union to become remotely popular around the globe
