It’s ur one and only inaugural member here. Yes the only member who’s seen it all here at talking footy yep, the only man who’s belted the snot out of each and every poor moderator and admin this site has managed to attract so ... me members... gather round now and listen up good to ur wise king

The site is at an all time low. The nrl supporters have thoroughly trounced, absolutely thrashed, totally defeated to near extinction the AFL fans. There’s barely two AFL fans posting here now and they are the most feeble of the feeblest of feeble AFL fans that have ever stepped foot in the fight club .... *lights old fashioned tobacco pipe and has a few puffs* ... they simply have no fight. They’ve basically said, in stark contrast to tfc guidelines, that they’d prefer to make love than fight in here

So me members I’d like to make an announcement. It’s time.. for an AFL member fan drive. Now, asides from big footy where else can we find AFL fans to sign up to talking footy?
Where do they hang out and how could we promote?

I’m not sure but I reckon I could prolly find a few at some of Sydney’s c grade fashion events. Anyone else know where they could find AFL fans in numbers during the off season??
And Beaussie? Do you got some lil promo pamphlets or sometin?

Yep. Things are decidedly quiet on the AFL fan front. The problem is they come here as bubble dwellers with no idea of the real world. Then RL ppl counter them with facts, evidence and proof and the poor buggers can't handle the truth.

The way things are going we may have to shake things up a tad and change the site name to 'Talking Rugby League". That has a nice ring to it. Waddaya reckon Beatup????

It seems the jury is in. We def have some agreement that a promo drive is a good idea. And then we have a suggestion from terry that this site become a rugby league site. I must say I’m quite warming to the idea. Beaussie? Wookie you cranky rodent you? What you guys think?

You may want to extend your promo drive to the NRL, with abysmal crowds and shit member numbers they could really gain allot with the help from your far reaching influence.
All that cash from the tv deal needs a bit of help to last to 2022.
