The ESL is rating around 3 times what the Super 15 does out here on average lol, and they only have 2 games a week shown.

No teams in the ACT, NT, Tasmania or the regional powerhouses of Newcastle and the Illawarra not to mention the regionals joints in QLD. AFL, not national and never will be.

the NRL has 1 team outside NSW and QLD. No one in their right mind would call that national expansion. Of course that doesn't apply to you

I'm not even saying the AFL is fully national, however it is more national than the NRL.
My point to NRL&NFL is expansion into new markets is extremely difficult, hence the reason RL hasnt expanded across this country despite it's popularity in Australia's biggest city and state. There are far more factors involved than just the quality of the sport

ACT is a completely different Territory to the states, so that's two outside of NSW and QLD plus the Warriors in NZ.

The ratings for any major game don't show that - actually quite the opposite.
