Nice Video to summarize the WOLFPACK> top and bottom
hopefully the weather is good could be a record crowd against Toulouse Olympique
I would love to see both clubs in the Super League.

If the Wolfpack make it to the Superleague. Will be huge things ahead for them both financially and with support.

Stadium upgrade for Toulouse blocked by local government. Team will move to 19,000 seat union stadium next year.

Re: Canadians like Rugby League a lot more than Chinese like AFL.
Wolfpack one step closer to Superleague with only one game to go.
Crowd reported as a record, but the week before seemed more.
This week the crowd seemed sparse both ends.
But I did only watch 10 minutes after the break.
New conditions are appearing re the criteria for entry including that they will not get a share of the central distribution fund (ie: they won’t get a share of the profits).
It appears they may have to continue to pay all expenses for visiting teams and will still play early “home” games in England.

I wouldn't be taking much notice of what those insular pommy fans are saying, they're all green with envy and have as much knowledge of what will happen as anyone here, all bs actually. I listed to a wolfpack interview on a Canadian radio station the other day and no one mentioned anything about them not going up if they won.

Seemed a decent crowd when they won against Toulouse Olympique in Canada over the weekend.

it still quite amazes me, that they are in DIV 2 and they are getting the crowds..
cannot wait for the Canadian Derby teams to clash and see the interest it gathers

I think league has a good chance in gaining a decent following in North America.
Another team will only add more interest.

I don't need to. The fact is AFL is not getting any crowds watching their sport in Canada.Quolls2019 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 27, 2019 5:03 pmRead the original post...NRL&NFLweLaughATafl wrote: ↑Fri Sep 27, 2019 4:59 pmAFL getting a crowd in Canada. Re: Canadians like Rugby League a lot more than Chinese like AFL.
The VFL hasn’t played there since the 80’s, even then they got bigger crowds than the professional “Canadian” RL team does now and the 3 current Canadian RL comps that have average attendances of well below 2,000.
The VFL played several exhibition games in Canada in the late 80’s
12/10/1989 Toronto, Geelong v Melbourne Attendance 24,639
16/10/1988 Toronto, Collingwood v Hawthorn, Attendance 18,000
18/10/1987 Vancouver, Melbourne v North Melbourne, Attendance 7,980
19/10/1987 Vancouver, Melbourne v Sydney, Attendance 32,789”
Currently the AFL get the same attendances as the NRL in Canada which is zero, because neither league plays there.
