Really can't be fucked going through all the old threads.
As an AFL man from Melb, I'm curious about a few things.

Firstly, the Storm.

I'd be right in thinking those from Sydney hate the Storm, yes? So before all the sustained success, all those Queenslanders and then being done for years of straight up cheating, were they hated from the outset?
I'm assuming winning one in their first few years didn't help.
I've also only just learned that they were a Super League initiative and entered as others were folding/merging.
Seems a good way to instill hate NRL, maybe that's a good thing though.

Was there ever talk of one of those teams coming down here instead? Ala South Melb to Syd? Surely relocation is better than folding.

Are they relevant, do they rate in Sydney, or would you rather they just fucked off? Nobody seemed interested in them this weekend

And what do you guys think Melburnians thinks of the storm in general?

I have a shitload more questions and theories but that's long enough for the moment.

I'd rather learn direct from fans rather than google.

Let me know if wrong forum.

I'm not sure hate is a strong enough word when it comes to the Storm for our northern counterparts.

There's no fucking way you live in Sydney then.
I've heard people are shot for not hating the Storm up there.
There's no way you could admit that out in public.

Have you started some underground Storm fan club?

Where are you people getting your information from? fantasy world??? I hate Melbourne , and most of the inbred AFL supporters that live in it. but I have no ill feelings towards the storm. And as far as the Storm goes I think most people feel that way.

The greatest and most successful NRL team in the history of the comp.
Is that the same Storm you're talking about?

I didn't source information or stats no, I suppose you could say it's just a general feeling down here that they are not the most popular.

I don't dislike Storm Either.. i do hate the tactics they brought to Rugby League though.

slowing down the ruck speed, wresling in tackles. all is a blight on the game..
which i wish the NRL would get it out of the game..

some people i know hate melbourne and some do not.. they are succesful in many ways..

They Rate well on FTA and FOX and have been a great success..

Melb inbreds just don't understand it's not the Rl team that is disliked .
