Not popular enough to put on main channel.Quolls2019 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 28, 2019 2:34 pmWhere are the swans....just follow the crowd...most popular football club in Sydney.
Nope, I just don't care. The AFL talking shit and big-noting themselves in Sydney doesn't surprise or bother me. It'd be strange if they didn't. Nobody I know buys that gws are popular, nor does it feel like thats whats being sold. It really only seems to bother you lot and make you dig for dirt.
Swans are going great guns. Crowds .. tick ... sponsorship ... tick ... media coverage .... tick ..... growth in Australian Rules participation, clubs, leagues ... tick . Could rating be better ... sure but when you combine fta and fox they are okay.AngloFootballLeague wrote: ↑Sat Sep 28, 2019 2:17 pmWhere are the swans? 38 years & can't draw a TV audience. Never produce more than player every draft. What you are saying giants can be niche.Fred wrote: ↑Sat Sep 28, 2019 12:48 pmI think we all agree they have some way to go re: winning hearts and minds in Western Sydney. It took the swans a long long time to get where they are. But we have a beginning. A seedling if you like where once there was baron ground. And that was the whole point of placing the Giants in Western Sydney.
Little media coverage in Sydney. Auskick numbers don't count. Very few Sydney players coming through to main league. Aging, white fan base...Fred wrote: ↑Sat Sep 28, 2019 4:48 pmSwans are going great guns. One swans player drafted this year - one last year. Number hasn't improved in almost 20 years.notaleaguefan wrote: ↑Sat Sep 28, 2019 8:21 pmSwans Most fansAngloFootballLeague wrote: ↑Sat Sep 28, 2019 5:20 pmLittle media coverage in Sydney. Highest crowds, memberships & sponsors that only an nrlol club could dream of! Ever increasing of kids from nsw picking up the game & being drafted!
You mean all this with little media coverage! Yet most sponsors still see the swans for best value for money!
Wow!
For participants numbers it’s been proven time and time again that it’s league with their bs numbers
Abc
Clearing house of sport
Erass
Roy Morgan
All show that afl numbers are more accurate than the nrlols greatly exaggerated numbers!
Btw do you think the storm will ever add to the one player from Melbourne to their list
Played like you'd expect an anglofl team from western Sydney would.
You really are a complete idiot.AngloFootballLeague wrote: ↑Sat Sep 28, 2019 8:47 pmPlayed like you'd expect an anglofl team from western Sydney would.
