With RL outdrawing the AFL at TIO stadium by about 25% in there respective matches,I think its pretty safe to assume that RL has become the dominant sport in the Northern Territory

AFL haven't played there this year yet (the one a fortnight ago was in Alice), and won't be there til early July.
Last year's game got 12,104, slightly more than the NRL game.
Another epic thread fail pussycat.

Australian Rules Football is part of the culture all over the NT from the remote communities to the bigger towns and in 2017 had a participation rate of 18 %. Its the Territories number one sport and has been since the Northern Territory Football League was formed in 1916.
Rugby League is so far behind it does not register, it does not rule and never will but it does have a tiny niche following.
