is a double header 2 crowds or 1?

The tossball fans are claiming their double header in Perth was 38k for the first game, and 38k for the second, therefore a total of 76k for the 2 games with an average of 38k.
Points against this creative accounting:
1. how do you know the entire 38k were there for both games?
2. How many games were played for the round and what was the total attendance for the round? That's the total per game
3. If your going to have multiple games in one session and count the crowd multiple times for each game you might as well play 4 games in a row on Saturday and claim each game had a crowd of 38k. How look, we get better crowds than the AFL!
4. A double header draws fans from 4 teams, not 2. It's totally reasonable to say the crowd wouldnt be near as big for a single game.
5. Did fans pay double admission or single admission? I think this is a massive point

Oh dear
Your points are rubbish .
There's two games
There's two crowds watching
About 38k for the first
& 38 k for the second .
Two different games with 2 crowds watching
The 38 k didn't disappear after the first game
There was very little difference in the crowd size on TV .for the second game
But I understand
The NRL counts it as 1 event .
With the crowd average for the rd divided by 7 games ..not 8 .& one game crowd of 38 k

you didnt adress any of the points. OK, lets start with point 5. Did the patrons pay for 1 game or 2?

I don't know
Ther is no price to go on for previous games at that venue .
Except a gold coin donation for some other sport .

I think the ticket prices were adjusted higher but cheaper at the same time>>
for example $30 to one game but this game was $45.00 for two games>> General Admission
I think the most expensive ticket was around $100.00

can you count there 38.5k crowd as two games ( No & yes)
Depends which way you look at it>
tickets were slightly higher.. so it is more expensive.
( I still believe the game Souths v Warriors would of held a crowd around the the 30k mark)

which is another point. How can you claim there were 38k for both when they wouldnt have achieved that crowd if played at different times?

I don't think you can... The Pricing admission is higher than what one game would of been.. so I guess that helps..
secondly no way the Storm v Canterbury game would of got around the 35k to 40k mark
again, the double header boosted the admission ticket>>
i do think the double header boosted the crowd by around 8k

double headers are always counted as a single crowd.
I read that yes that is true but the two games are counted as a single event .

Good to see you back Wookie . It appeared you had deserted the AFL's sinking ship. What have you been doing? Booking front row tickets for the Shanghai match.
