That's not a fair few
yeah, after looking at the ratings we only have a small number of Thursday games at the start and end of the season, and many were during the olympics so they rated lower. Last year was a better example.

However, as i said, the NRL can include any games they want. But I think you'll find barely any of their games rated over 1m this year, certainly less than last year.
Lol
You just don't get it
We are multi layered ..we don't haveall our eggs in one basket ..like you do

You are stuck on one million ?

Why not two million ?
We have a new magic number
How many afl games outside the GF reach 2 mill.
0
How many Rl games reach 2 mill outside the Gf
At least 3

I told you yesterday there was 7 in the first 10 rounds. Since then 2.8m, 3.2m and a 3.4m. If you I don't believe me go back and count them up yourself . I don't think Mediaweek can go back that far. Try Media Spy .Gem will be around 35k , Regionals are about 2/3 of your Metro total.

Im not stuck on 1mil, it's an arbitrary figure the AFL regularly achieve and the NRL struggle to achieve

AFL to SUPERCHARGE (THURSDAY AND FRIDAY NIGHT GAMES)

2019 AFL fixture launch: Sunday night footy makes a comeback

HE AFL will again dabble with Sunday night football early in the 2019 season, using daylight savings to hand Melbourne fans a 6.40pm contest.

The AFL’s fixture will be released at midday on Thursday, AEDT, with the Herald Sun revealing this month as many as 12 Thursday night games will be the centrepiece of the new broadcast-friendly draw.

It means the league can not only play more Thursday night games, but also supercharge Friday nights by at times playing a big club in a Sunday game then scheduling them the next Friday night.

They're desperately trying to increase their TV ratings by playing more games on Thursday and Sunday nights and by continually putting the big rating teams on Friday nights.

I'd say Ch7 and Fox have had a quiet chat to them about this years catastrophic ratings dive.
