You seem to be very confused regarding head to head.

A competition were one side doesn't show it bottom teams is not a level playing field.
A competition where one side is missing its best players, or having them back up after 2 days is certainly not a fair comparison.

However 2 of todays games where as even/steven as it gets.....but, but, but

you're wrong as usual. I added up ladder positions for all the teams on Friday night games and the NRL had a lower number, ie they had more games with better performing teams

As for best players missing so our ratings are low, it's still part of your competition. If viewers drop off it's you shit product

Indeed true..

In a H & A season
There has to be a game that is the highlight of the round..

For AFL its Friday Night

Just like NFL
sunday / monday night football
Is huge
and Friday night is the highlight of the NRL's round given it's consistently the highest rating, and on average this year, has better performing teams than the AFL
How can it be the highlight each round..

When the NRL has other games around the friday night game.. that take away the occassion of
Friday night footy..

Also SOO on .. takes away the friday night experience..

Your are right on this occasion, it is part of our competition. Just as the 3.5m ratings are that these players helped the NRL earn.

Night time is prime time for tv . But our Thursday FTA ratings are as good or better than Friday
Night. Saying that though Sunday Afternoon does rate well, this week it will be our highest rating game. And our Saturday night ratings are better than anything else on PTV. But, But, But.

your Saturday games are exclusive to fox where as ours are simulcast on FTA. So of course they dont compare.

And again, I've checked the Thursday and Friday scheduling, and your Friday games have more better performing teams. So Friday evening is definitely the NRL's premiere game

There was well over 60k difference on Sat/Sunday PTV games . Do you actually think simulcasting makes that much difference????? Do you actually think there are tens of thousands of people forking out $100 a month for Foxtel and then watching the add littered match on the inferior quality FTA broadcast???

Not all matches on Saturday were simulcast. Then on Sunday both the AFL's and NRL's afternoon games where simulcast and there was over 100k difference on PTV alone.

YES! How many of your games rate over 300k on fox when they are also on ch9? And how many rate over 300k on Saturday when NOT on ch9? The answer is right there

Yes heartland NRL states have far higher subscription numbers, which is perfectly understandable given people in Perth and Adelaide dont need foxtel to watch their own teams. The fact that the AFL usually outrates the NRL on Friday nights is quite astounding

Higher subscription numbers. Meaning there is more interest Rugby League.
Brisbane have nearly all games on tv :blahblah: :blahblah: hypocrite.

So far this year there have been 6 PTV games in the NRL that have reached 300k. 5 have been excusive to Fox and 1 has been simulcast. But if you add 20k to our simulcast numbers( not 50,60 or 70k which is the number we usually win by) then there would be 7 simulcast games over 300k.

Most weeks we have 5 exclusive PTV games and 3 simulcast matches.

Meaning there is a greater take up of STV in NSW and QLD, which is a known fact. Whether that is due to the history the NRL has had with STV I'm not sure. But it is well known.

Exactly. Despite your more popular games being on Thursday and Friday night, and therefore simulcaston, only 1 has achieved an audience over 300k. The others were exclusive to STV

Very few of our games are exclusive to STV, especially not the games in prime time where the larger audiences are seen.

But as usual, the moment both codes have similar conditions: prime time, single game, simulcast on FTA and STV, the AFL almost always win both the FTA ratings and STV. You're only defense is we dont play our worst teams, yet when the ladder positions of the teams involved are compared the NRL favour the better performing teams.

Like for like you lose. That is why no matter what the other ratings say, the AFL is clearly the more popular sport on TV
