Hooray for the AFL and NRL for having the gonads to state their organisation's position.

I just looked at the numbers and with around 4.5 million no voters have the league's potentially lost a stack of followers. Was it a wise business decision? I'm not too sure.

I was in meltdown mode ever since my mum asked me if I'd quickly checked my mail to neatly fill out my ssm form and voted yes asap to post it back asap because apparently she'd forgotten when I told them both over dinner that I was not participating in the process because I thought it was a complete dogs dinner!

Despite this he did so, not because he felt supported or accepted, but because he felt convicted about someone he knew who lived with AIDS. Since coming out he has seen no real change in attitudes about gay acceptance within the RL community.
