Well the AFL season is well and truely over for this season and it looks like channel 7 is now really going to go all out with the rlwc. Games will be broadcast live in Perth, Adelaide and Melbourne on 7mate too.

Also seems to be quite a big crew of Rugby League hosts.
Brett Kimmorley, Dan Kinnane, Laurie Daley, Mark Geyer, Renee Gartner, Ryan Girdler, Brent Tate, Andrew Moore to name a few.

What is high quality rugby league coverage?

Will be more like Fox coverage instead of channel 9.

Judging by the week that past of week 1 of the world cup..

it did seem in a lot of ways below the standard of channel 9 coverage

I do think it will get better. a lot of positives..

Hopefully they'll get better. Ch7 would have been ecstatic with the ratings. It's always good to have another broadcaster promoting and highlighting your product.

Gotto agree. The AFL world cup was without equal. Rugby league's version is just a shallow imitation

One thing I would like to see at the next AFL world cup is more than just the 1team

Can you hear the noise on c7 from the camera zooming in and out like on c9 and fox due to the lack of crowd and atmosphere

Watching it, I wish channel 7 got the all the NRL coverage too. So much better than 9. Much fresher and more professional.
