AFL over ..RL still going..Sokkah starting .

Well it's that time of year folks .
The AFlol is over ...they've got no international Aflol games to look forward to ...so I suppose we will hear how exciting the DWAFT THE DWAFT THE DWAFT will be .
Us RL fans still have a rep season to look forward to ( thanks CH 7 AFL station for showing the RLWC)
& now the lol league will start
I'm wondering if it will follow the same script
Each year it starts off with decent crowds ( clear air ...no rival sport) & the hooligan chant is ...we are taking over blah blah
Cricket starts & it sinks into oblivion & the seat jumpers disappear as reality sets in .
Meanwhile in the background the screeching of the fumble fans is still loud & clear

It's just an extension of our multi dimensional season .
Can't blame you for getting jealous because you don't have what other sports have .

THe funniest thing is all you have to do is look at he union how popular that is on the world stage then look and laugh at laugh how pathetic it is!
Anything international league is Australia and NZ dominate & it’s like watching your favourite nrlol player play again but with a different colour shirt on

because apparently our having AFL Womens, International Rules, and a draft that gets more media coverage than most sports isnt multi dimensional. The draft has been part of the AFL for 30 years, Id have thought youd be over it by now.
More media coverage? AFL womens international cup had had zero coverage in Sydney. I did not even know there was such a thing.
Has been all about players defecting to Tonga in the rlwc.
Time to get out of the Southern bubble.

Biggest sport in half a country with constant international attempts that embarrass yourselves
That AFL China match was the bomb of the year.
Half full with mostly expats and no Chinese.
Now AFL is still attempting to go international with AFL X because no overseas football codes play on oval fields.
Lets not forget the AFL international cup that not even SBS will show.

Soccer’s so called Big Blue last night between Melbourne Victory vs Sydney FC attracted 24k last night in Melbourne. Long gone are the days this match up was considered a blockbuster with big crowds that’s for sure. Wonder what the tv ratings were?

Biggest sport in half a country ...
Player numbers in nsw and qld would suggest otherwise. Crowds in these states would also suggest otherwise. Gold Coast and Brisbane had a massive afl presence and growing ... geez even rl people know the games in trouble .
