Well just last week GWS pulled the lowest AFL finals crowd in a 100 years.
14,865

And that was with free tickets for kids, mass promotion and advertising.
Even talk of a sellout. Yet was lucky to be less than half full.

They had ratings about this figure too.

I think the article addresses that... stating that whilst there has been some growth and success there is a long way to go

Hey aflcraper... not doubting you ... as you are usually right ... but where does it say it's a paid advert? Usually journalist have to disclose cash for comment or conflicts. I'm sure it is as you say but was just looking for where you got that from. Knowing me it's probably right in front of me in the article lol

If it's opinion that it is an advert that's one thing... but given you always ask for proof should you not hold yourself to these standards. I know what you are saying re contra but a journalist now has to declare cash for comment and can't see where this is done ... even media outlets have to declare as such.
