This is a good point Pusey... SoO is the becon of light in what is otherwise a very bleak environment at present for rl and the nrl in this country. Goodness knows where it would be without it.

What ideas or thoughts do you have to arrest the sliding ratings and crowd numbers for games, particularly evident in this finals series to date.
Rugby Leagues ratings from Origin Would make up less 9%.

Given our ratings are better than yours it doesn't say much for fumble ball or its brainwashed followers.

They waiting for next years soo series.

Melbourne must be too. They forking out millions for it. There even bidding on our Grand Final - gee they must be starved for descent sport in Melbourne.

Perth's also chasing origin .
oh, Melbourne have a chance every fortnight to watch NRL, and the vast majority choose not to. The storm get lower crowds than every Melbourne AFL team.

Bit of a hypocritical statement there LOL. Considering a lot More Melbourne viewers watch Rugby League than Sydney viewers watch your pathetic excuse for a sport.

LIC you go on about SOO SOO SOO as if its all the NRL has got..

but it literally only makes up 3 weeks worth of tv figures of the NRL season approx. 11mill
and around 185k AVG attendance for the series>>

we still have 24 rounds and final series that go par to par with the AFL
except crowds 16k avg to 33k avg

but the NRL AVG attendances excludes SOO and Internationals..

Your nrlol fans keep dribbling on about soo

Your crowds are crap, throw in the fact they are on average running 4th in nsw behind afl, union and aye league

Your crowds for the finals series have been shit! That's including the $15 dollar & free tickets

The nrlol like usual put in to isolation simular to an afl game & they get smashed!

Fudge it, twist it, attempted to rewrite it including all those but buts

Reality and the truth always comes out

No doubt, For the same reason you compare Origin with the fucking AFL.
Who compares SOO with AFL Wookster??? Us nice RL folk here repeatedly say the strength of RL is that we actually have a multi tiered sport. International, State and domestic. It is a point of difference with the AFL who only have a domestic component.

Quite the opposite to your assertion we celebrate the fact SOO is different to your domestic league.

its repeatedly done here when talking about fucking ratings and crowds. Its the standard response to ANYTHING AFL.
Once again my friend you have let your base fumbling zealotry get in the way of reasoned thought. This is so demonstrably wrong it hardly beggars further attention. If you can show me any post's by the kind RL folk here that compare our glorious State of Origin games to AFL domestic games I will take them to task. That's the kind of guy I am Wookster.

My friend you must read post's more closely. This missive is about the assertion that RL folk here ALWAYS compare SOO with AFL domestic games. This simply does not happen.

The great RL community here repeatedly tell you kind fumbling folk that you have nothing that compares with SOO. You have a one dimensional sport. SOO is a ratings monster that you folk have nothing to compare to.

It is simply impossible to compare SOO to any game in your sport - it is a standalone behemoth. Please move on for the sake of your sanity.

Once again, I dont give a shit what you think. ive been around this forum a lot longer than you. Standard deflection tactic from nrl folks: but but but origin.

Literally just compared the ratings monster that is Origin to a domestic sport btw.
Well get off your arse and put out the seasons ratings Wookie. If folk had known you were goin' to give up folk would have done their own.

Also: Re origin - you have been proven wrong Mr infallible. We mention SOO because it's a behemoth of Australian TV and sport. Nothing to do with your little domestic game. I might start calling you The Pope....lolololololololol.
