just to clarify I see Post Hoc's reasoning
they Pick Australia's best team, but actually do not vs anyone.
The NRL is abit like the AFL one>> regards to team of the century
best Positional player in the team of the year>>
like what they do at The DALLY M

So given it is a domestic competition and only played in 1 country ... who do you suggest they play pusstcat?

AFL should throw a few million at some Union & League Players in NZ
to make up a N.Z Team..
throw them the rule book and let em watch a few Games
and play N>Z in an Exhibition Match.

You,re missing the point pal. RL actually has a national team that plays games. The AFL and NFL have merit teams only. So does the NRL but they also have a bona-fide team that plays internationals. Simple really.
