As the great Australian poet Sir Les Patterson once said, "self praise is like getting a standing ovation from the village idiot' lolololololol. Good on the fumblers for patting each other on the back, nodding in unison and grinning about a job well done!!!! Three cheers for the fumblers!!!!

Hahahahahaha. A bit of humour from Wookie is always a good thing. However you will never hear me giving anyone in NRL management or clubland a wrap.
I am actually continually surprised that the 'ol game is still holding up with the incompetence we've had at every level. If we ever get our collective act together the potential is endless.

I somewhat agree with Terry ... if the nrl had the AFL/vfl administration over the last 30 years I suspect they would be in a much better place. That they go from disasterous to incompetent administration is beyond belief. They certainly have a good product however their precious Sydney centric focus (we're big in Sydney so that's all that's matters) and their reluctance to take risks has held rl and the nrl back so much.
I seriously think that if they could lure Andrew Demetrio to run the nrl it would not be such a poor idea. Currently the clubs seem to be running the game and looking out for their own self interests.

Good comment Freddy.
A lot of Rugby League fans have not been happy with
the management and the way things have been heading..
the NRL kicked out SOUTH SYDNEY>>>
that's like the AFL kicking out COLLINGWOOD
so many dumb things have been done..
but I do hold out hope each year.. that it will change..

AFL's Crowd focus, translates into Great Tv Figures.
nothing better than watching a Big Game with a big crowd.

its a different market and mentality. the NRLOL market!
the clubs and commission are always at war because the clubs think they are relevant and the center of the universe like most flogs out of Sydney!
it doesn't matter who you put in charge of the NRLOL it will forever be a shit show that it always has been
