I'm assuming it's the Sharks v Raiders game. Two of the smaller followings in the comp. Would probably pull around 200k on Fox normally. Will be very interesting to see what it gets when simulcast with Ch 9.

Zero from what I've seen. Probably ramp it up from the Thurs game but who knows - intelligent promotion and scheduling isn't 9's strong point.

Will be very interesting,
prob is (its happening out of the blue)
Sharks and cowboys seem to be selected a lot in a few games,
with raiders playing twice
storm once and panthers once..
Ch9 have been advertising as far as I am aware an advert during FTA coverage
saying 4 nights of FTA games a week starting soon..
for about 2 weeks.

it has been a dreadful year for attendances sitting at 15200 (excluding rep games)
I do expect an increase next year..
with Ch9 and FOX now losing scheduling rights.. (THANK GOD FOR THAT)

Considering a Melbourne winter is far more harsh than a Sydney winter and definitely a Brisbane winter!

Yes but 50% of our games are played in the Burbs
where stadiums don't have much cover>>>
not the comfort of Ethiad (which gets 2 games per week)
(its not excuses)
look at the AVG of team in good conditions...
than when rain hits>> especially in R.L watch the crowd be reduced by 50%
no but but but>> that is stats!
both codes in rain are horrible to watch.

Dude the crowds in the major stadiums are not much better than the home club grounds! Add in the last 50 plus years of crowds, the AFL was packing out small suburban then!
Games are still played at the mcg, the cats play in geelong to packed stadium regularly and the weather is worse down there!
Adelaides winters are terrible & large crowds attend, perth the winter wind from the Indian Ocean is horrible& crowds still turn out
This cold windy wet winter is nothing but a but but excuse

well than I cannot explain why NRL crowds fall in wet weather than...
when Cronulla Sharks had a 15k Avg for the year.. 2015
but there rain affected match of the year >>> only drew 4k (remember that)

One isolated incident! Wasn't that game played on a weekday?
Base the crowds over several rounds or seasons, not just a once of

These fumblers like to turn every conversation back to crowds (crowds and Friday nights) because there not much else they can compete at.
