If Hird was seen as culpable ASADA or WADA would have charged him with an offence, just like they charged and punished Steven Dank.

I think it's totally reasonable Hird was invited back. He's been punished by the AFL and should be allowed to move forward

The Essendon drug cheating saga was Australia's single worst episode in pro sports. Ever. Ol golden boy simply doesn't deserve to be honoured ever again.

I mean, the AFL have no shame really. They invited the convicted drug user who was involved in a teenage girls death to present the same medal some years ago. At least Ol a let had the decency to decline the offer...

The other issue to remember is that Hird recently tried to suicide over this incident. Having a good part of a 1000000 crowd boo him is not likely to be to favourable to his mental health.
