Over the years there's been many times an AFL official has either talked shit or told outright lies .
Usually ignored by fumblefans or they just nod & agree.
Instead of rehashing old crap I thought I'd start a new thread with new lies .

Gil the Dill (mr 30k registered AFL players in Nz) had an interview discussing GWS in Canb .

Nothing much wrong with it .no harm in aspiring to be no 1
But to claim that is outright crap
They don't even have a fucking team in Canb ..just a fly in a few times team

The codes have gone head to head in different timeslots in recent years and McLachlan didn't hesitate in saying the AFL's goal was to be the most dominant sport in Canberra.

"I feel confident. If you look at where football was [in Canberra] five or six years ago, we're in a very different spot," McLachlan said.

"There are 13 new women's teams alone in Canberra this year. There's a very different vibe and a lot of energy.

"There is a clear view this is Canberra's team. We're committed and the [Giants] are committed. That certainty is what has been lacking for a long time.

"...I was thrilled to see AFL is back as the dominant code in this market. And I'm hoping in five years time it's unassailably No. 1. We'll keep investing and partnering with the Giants to make sure we're delivering."

I've heard Gil say NZ has Rugby Union and no other sport which is why he believes Kiwis would love AFL.
Funny how he hides the fact New Zealand have a national Rugby League side which were number one in the world as well as their own team in the NRL.

Was so obvious that it pained him to admit league has had far more success in NZ than AFL.
